Arlie Carter Brown, born in 1949 in St. Louis Missouri, passed away leaving behind a legacy of honor, faith, and deep devotion to the people he loved. A proud veteran who served his country faithfully for 22 years in the United States military, Arlie traveled the world during his years of service, always working hard to provide for and protect his family. His life was defined by dedication, integrity, and a strong sense of responsibility to both his country and those closest to him. Arlie was a true outdoorsman at heart. He loved spending time hunting and fishing and cherished every moment he could in nature. One of his greatest joys was teaching his sons everything he knew about the outdoors and passing down the traditions and skills that meant so much to him. Those lessons, shared in the woods and by the water, became lasting memories and a bond that will never fade. A man of deep faith, Arlie loved the Lord and his church family. He served faithfully as a dedicated deacon, always willing to volunteer his time and lend a helping hand wherever it was needed. His church and friends meant the world to him, and he lived his faith not only in words, but in his actions. He believed in doing what was right, treating others with respect, and living a life of honesty and integrity. Arlie was an old-school man in the very best sense—honorable, respectful, hardworking, and fully committed to everything he did. If he took on a task, he gave it his full effort and did it to the best of his ability. He was a proud member of the Masons and disabled American Veterans and valued the principles of brotherhood and service that came with it. Outside of his many responsibilities, Arlie enjoyed traveling and had a special love for Corvettes. He was a proud member of a Corvette club and enjoyed the friendships and camaraderie that came with it. Those who knew him also knew he was very active and would go out of his way to help whenever he could. Above all else, Arlie loved his family. He worked tirelessly throughout his life to care for them, support them, and make sure they always knew they were loved. He was an incredible father, a loyal friend, and a man who always tried to do the right thing no matter the circumstances. Arlie Carter Brown was a man who gave much more to the world than he ever asked in return. Through his service, his faith, his friendships, and his family, he left behind a powerful legacy of strength, kindness, and unwavering commitment. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but the values he lived by and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
Arlie leaves behind his loving wife; Alandra Brown, son; Bryan (Krissie) Brown, brother; Tony LaForrest, Sister; Gail Brown, Brother and Sister-in-law; Richard and Paula Bohannon, Grandchildren; Olivia Brown, Angela Brown, Kadra Gaudet, Brandon Gaudet, Jarret Hurt, Jacob Hurt, Jayden (Bug) Hurt and six great grandchildren, and a host of niece and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son; Shawn Brown, his daughter Allison Gaudet, his father; Carter Brown, mother; Dorothy LaForest, his grandparents and Sister-in-law; Margarette Trushel.
