April Elaine Calhoun

April Elaine Calhoun, our most dearest and beloved Sha-Sha, affectionately known as April Mae, Shaky Mae, Prello-Jello, and Aunt Apple, passed peacefully into Heaven on January 10, 2026.

April was truly one of a kind. Born with a special spirit, she loved deeply and wholeheartedly. Her joy, kindness, and genuine heart touched everyone who knew her. April had a love for technology and was always excited about the latest and greatest gadgets.

April was active in Special Olympics, ARC and Buddy Ball and loved her puppy dogs Izzy, Buddy, Wee Wee and Frisky Diana.

She treasured her many lifelong friendships and would call you often.

Above all else, April loved her family and Jesus. She is survived by her loving parents, Debra and Ron Estey; her brothers, Thomas (Sheila) and Evan (Michelle); Randi (Niki) and her many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family, all of whom she held close to her heart.

April’s life will be celebrated by a private family ceremony held at a later date to be announced.

April was the greatest gift from God and we truly love and miss her.
