Anthony Hildon Perkins “Hack”, age 53, passed away on October 27, 2024. He was born on September 17, 1971, to Roger Perkins and Sherry Perkins.

Anthony "Hack" Perkins, a man of boundless love and a true friend to all. He is leaving behind a legacy marked by his unwavering devotion to family, friends, and his beloved dogs. Hack’s life revolved around his daughter Ash and their passion for field trials and bench shows where Hack shared countless proud moments making sure everyone knew he taught her everything she knew. Whether in the field or on the bench, Hack was happiest alongside his daughter, who was always at his side, cheering each other on and sharing the joy of each field trial and bench show. His dogs were more than companions; they were his motivation and purpose, and his joy in working with them was evident to everyone who crossed his path. A loving father and husband, Hack made sure his girls had everything they needed, never missing a chance to show them how much they meant to him. His daughter was the center of his world, and his dedication to her was unmatched—a bond strengthened by the shared experiences at every bench show and field trial where he would often be seen in the background watching and admiring Ash doing everything he taught her. Hack's kind and funny nature made him the heart of his family where he had a quick sarcastic comeback or a nickname for most; he could turn strangers into friends with ease, always with a Diet Coke—or as he and Grayson called it, "Coke coke"—in hand. Known to many as "Hack," he was a beloved father, husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend who brought warmth and humor to every gathering. His presence will be deeply missed, but the love and laughter he shared with everyone around him will live on, reminding us of the joyful, caring man he was and the beautiful life he led. Hack is preceded by his father, Roger Dale Perkins; Father-in-law, Ronnie Saucier; a baby girl; grandparents, Essie and Andiess Ladner, and Ittia and Hildon Perkins. He is also proceeded by his coondog Zeke. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Lora Saucier Perkins (lor lor); daughter/best friend ,Ashlyn (Ashton “Big Fella”) Perkins; mother, Sherry Perkins; mother-in-law, Lydia Saucier;  brothers, Vincent “Big Bear” Perkins, Jeffrey Perkins, and Casey (Bridget) Perkins; sisters-in-law, Nancy (Greg) Peterson, and Mignon Byrd; nieces and nephews, Justin “slim”(Joanna)  Perkins, Shanea (David) Downin, Raven (Sam) Fountain, Landon”Cheeto” (Haylee) Peterson, Riley “RiRi” (Marlo) Perkins, Gavin “G” Perkins, Jansen Curet, Raelyn”RaeRae” (Finley) Brooks, Koby Perkins, Raegan “Billy Goat” Brooks, and Makinley “Kinley Kid” Perkins; great nieces and nephews, Brooklyn, Madalyn, Vivien, Weston, Bella Grace, and Greyson “Pop Pop”; his hounds; Stitch, Joker, Two Tone, Blackjack, Rosie Poise, Cheeto Puff, Lady May (her 7 babies), AF LEGACY BENCH CHAMPION Playboy, Ryder, Annabell, River man, and Moonpie.
