Aniceto "Cheto" Reyna

Aniceto “Cheto” Reyna went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by his family on July 10, 2023, at St. Dominic’s Hospital in Jackson, MS.  Aniceto was born to María Luisa and Vicente Reyna on July 26, 1965, in Greeley Colorado. He was raised in Alamo, Texas and attended PSJA High School where he met his soul mate, María del Rosario. Aniceto enjoyed working on his garden alongside his wife. He loved fishing and barbecuing with his family, introduced his brothers to the game of golf, and enjoyed his latest hobby of collecting marbles. Aniceto was very much loved and will be dearly missed. Left to cherish his memories are his beloved wife, who he has known for over 42 years, Maria Reyna; six children, Erika (Uriel), Joe, Rosa (Scottie), Victor, Rosario and Luisa; three grandsons, Erick, Kaleb, Joseph and granddaughter, Luna; mother, María Luisa; brothers, Vicente Jr. (Sylvia), Arnold (Raquel), Felix (Sheri), Mingo (Elena), Luther and Lupe (Esmeralda); along with numerous nieces and nephews. Aniceto is preceded by his father, Vicente Reyna; nephew, Stephen Reyna; and infant granddaughter, Sophia Pugh. There will be two memorial services one in Spanish at Iglesia Hispana de Clinton on Sunday, July 16 at 6pm and in English at Russel Baptist Church in Meridian on Monday, July 17 at 4pm.
