Andrew Sean Browning, 65 of McHenry, passed away July 13, 2023 at Memorial Hospital in Wiggins. He was born January 11, 1958 in Hawaii while his father was stationed there. Andy as he was known to most, grew up all over as part of a military family. From North Carolina, Georgia and Alabama, to the islands of Hawaii and Okinawa, he had the benefit of growing up in many places while his father served in the US Army. Andy was the third of five children to John Calvin and June (Hamlet) Browning. He graduated from high school in Florida and joined the US Air Force, where he served honorably for over twenty years. After his military retirement, he continued in Civil Service for another eighteen years. In his career, Andy had several "jobs" but enjoyed being an instructor, teaching and interacting with others the most. He is lovingly remembered enjoying laughter and being somewhat of a joker. Andy enjoyed music, played the piano and sang. He was part of a band and even recorded a record with them while in England. Andy loved to draw, play tennis, tinker with cars and trucks, play chess, and so much more. He tried his best to live life to the fullest every day. For all that he was and did, Andy will be sadly missed by all whose life he touched. He was preceded by his parents, John and June Browning, and his youngest brother, Matt Browning. Left to cherish his memories are: his loving wife Nancy; their children: Amanda (Jonny) Browning-Gomez of Arnold, MO and Natalie (Daniel McNatt) Baylis of Ocean Springs; his sisters Angela (Vincent) Eguiguren of CA and Beth Couch of Huntsville, AL, with his brother John (Cheryl) Browning of Atmore, AL. He leaves a legacy of seven grandchildren: Ashleigh, Cortland, Abigail, Lincoln, Evelyn, Aerily, and John Andrew, with one on the way as well. Andy also leaves numerous extended family, friends, and acquaintances all over. His final wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. Andy will have a memorial service locally, and be interred in Biloxi National Cemetery with military honors, with times and dates to be updated here when set and scheduled. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve Andy's family in their time of need and asks that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers through the days ahead.
