Alice Mae Sampson, 74, passed away on July 13, 2022 at Singing River Hospital in Gulfport in MS. Alice was born on March 29, 1948 in New Orleans, LA to Le'Paul and Viola Martin Eusan. Alice was raised in New Orleans, LA and she graduated from Delgado Culinary School of Arts. She married Carl Sampson Sr. in 1965 and had three lovely children. Alice was Master Chef that worked and retired from La Peniche'. She won plaques and trophies and other awards during her long carrier. Her reputation preceded her, she served celebrities, politicians, and the average person. Alice was full of life and she helped anyone that she could. Alice was a loyal woman of faith that loved fishing, going to Casinos, and long bus rides, and traveling around the country. Most of all she loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family and hosting family gatherings. Alice was a wonderful, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many and she will be dearly missed. Alice is preceded in death by her parents Viola Martin Eusan and Le'Paul Eusan; her husband, Carl Sampson Sr. and life partner, Leon Moore. Left to cherish her memories are her loving children, Sherry Sampson, Carl (Swakineea Robertson) Sampson Jr., and Deon Sampson; sister, Cynthia Ackerson; six grandchildren, Myeshia (David Andrews) Sampson, Damonique (Nea Taylor) Sampson, Keira Robertson, Kayla Robertson, Kyria Scott, and Lee Scott; niece and godchild, Suprina Ackerson; nephew Aloric Ackerson; niece, Roneka Eusan. Alice is also cherished by a host of great-nieces and great-nephews and family and friends. A visitation will be held on July 23, 2022 at Our Lady Guadalupe Church & International Shrine of St. Jude of New Orleans, LA from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 10:00 a.m. Trinity Funeral Services of McHenry, Mississippi is honored to serve the Sampson family in their time of need and asks that you remember them in your thoughts and prayers over the coming days.
