Mrs. Alberta Noble Faulk Martin (60) was born July 25, 1957, and passed away Thursday, August 24th, 2017, at her home on Cable Bridge Road in Pass Christian, surrounded by her family. Bert was known as "Mom" to many, and "Auntie" by others. She had a tremendous love for children, and was the owner / operator of The Ree Center in Gulfport prior to Hurricane Katrina, where she made a huge impact on a lot of young lives. Bert was preceded by her parents, Rosalie & Russell Delano, Sr. and Ronald Eugene Noble, Sr.; a grandson, Shane Moore; a sister, Wendy Thomas; and a brother, R. B. Delano, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband, Kent Martin; her children, Carrie (Cedric) Ladner, B. Dale Faulk, Jr. (Trinity), Grace Alisa Gonzales (John), Shoen Faulk (Tina), Russell Faulk (Amber), Tanya Faulk, and Corey Martin; grandchildren Bryce Ladner (Felicia), Alana (Huy) Ha, Breanna Ladner (Matt), Destiny Faulk, Christa Faulk, Chloe Monds, David Faulk, Alisa "Nikki" Faulk, McKenzie Threadway, Rob Threadway, Madeline Threadway, Toby Threadway, Anthony Stumph, and Jamie Stumph; great-grands Korbyn, Kai, Camden, and Baby Boy Ha; and many other honorary grandkids. She is also survived by 9 sisters, Sandra (Harry) Carroll, Kathy Hutchinson, Donna Delano, Rebecca Delano (James), Jinny Bosarge (Bo), Viola "Lin" McElwain, Sarah Sparks (Pat), and Robin (Johnny) Barnett; 4 brothers, Ronald Eugene (Janie) Noble, Jr., Neil Noble, Danny (Virginia) Delano, and Greg (Theresa) Delano; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she was very close to. Bert chose to have a "living funeral", where family and friends paid their respects with visits and calls before her passing. Therefore, there will be no funeral services. Her wishes were to be cremated, and her ashes will be on property for her family and friends to visit her in her circle.
