Alan Lynn Daughtery, 61, passed away on February 20, 2025 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. Alan was born on February 25, 1963 in Biloxi, MS to parents James Charles and Jacqueline Warden Daughtery. Alan Daughtery was a strong, hardworking man who took pride in everything he did. Stubborn yet generous, he’d give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He had a sharp sense of humor, always making people feel welcome, and was the kind of man you could always count on—honest, reliable, and true. He had a passion for cooking, especially for family on holidays and ringing in the New Year with a feast. Fishing, hunting, and being out on the water brought him peace, whether casting his net on the beach or camping at Ship Island. Though he could be quick to frustration, he always made things right, leaving things better than he found them. Alan was a good man, through and through—a provider, a friend, and a pillar for those he loved. His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in every shared meal, every early morning task completed, and every cast into the water. Alan is preceded by his parents, James Charles Daughtery and Jacqueline Warden; his brothers, Lee Daughtery, Troy Daughtery, and Jim Daughtery. Alan is survived by his loving daughter, Patricia (Phillip) Daughtery; sister, Anna Hays, and his brother, Arnold Daughtery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Daughtery Family and ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during these challenging times.
