Wanda Gail Parker, 67, of Saucier passed away October 11, 2019 in Gulfport. The baby of 3 girls was born to Hayward and Jaunita (Careway) Smith June 10, 1952. Wanda will be remembered as a true southern lady, right down to her tomato gravy and flapjacks. She loved to sit on Lulu's front porch laughing and cutting up with her two sisters. She raised her 3 daughters with grace, gentleness and love. Wanda was a dedicated mom, but she especially loved her role as Mawmaw. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. Wanda had an unselfish personality, loved making people happy and was the life of the party. She leaves lasting memories for the family she loved unconditionally. She is preceded by her parents and brothers in law, Earl "Pap" Fairley and Charlie Royals. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Parker; daughters, Melissa (Ronnie) Matthews, Becky (Andrew) Page and Mandy Parker; grandchildren, Racquel, Kirk, Whitney, Lexi, Jayden and Bryce; great-grands, Kinley, Kayson, Wesley and Emerson; sisters, Linda Fairley and Joyce Royals along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours from 5 pm to 7 pm on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at Lizana Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held at 7 pm. The family would like to express extreme gratitude to Mary (Lucy) Fairley for going above and beyond. Aunt Winnie considered you a special niece, caregiver and friend.
