Thomas Terrance Vanderford

Thomas Terrance Vanderford, 50 of Perkinston, passed away at his home Saturday evening. Known as Terrance by those who knew him best, he was born October 2nd, 1968, the son and baby of six children to Henry T. & Deloris M. (Mizell) Vanderford. He grew up on Johnson Bayou in Pass Christian, and is remembered as "into everything" as a young boy. He loved music, fishing, and so much more. Terrance also enjoyed playing football, and being larger than most kids his age, he gained the affectionate nickname "Terrible T". After his educational pursuits, he worked offshore for a few years until a serious back injury sidelined him. Terrance enjoyed riding his Harley, music with his friends, and watching TV. He definitely had his share of struggles in life, but was loved by so many. Terrance is remembered as a kind-hearted, loving man, brother and friend. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Terrance is preceded by his parents, Henry & Deloris Vanderford, and his brother Arthur Carter. He is survived by: his daughter Toy; his sisters Ann (Jeff) Hernandez and Susan Hall, and brothers Clay Carter and Robert Vanderford, along with numerous extended family and friends. Terrance's wishes were to be cremated, which his family is honoring. A memorial service will likely be held at a later date. The family wishes to express special thank to Northwood Christian Church for their overwhelming love and support in this sad time.
