Robert Lee Obituary

Mr. Robert Edward Lee, 59 of Perkinston, passed away at his home Wednesday afternoon. Robert was born September 12, 1959 in Borden, IN, the son of Robert & Eleanor Mae Lee. He grew up there, and loved music, movies, horse racing, and baseball, as his father played for the Cleveland Indians. Robert enjoyed playing as well, but his true passion was music and drums. He was an accomplished drummer, playing for many bands over the years, including the Dallas Moore Band among several others. When he wasn't playing, Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing. He is remembered as a loving, protective, and encouraging father. A devoted husband to his loving wife Jenny, he will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Robert was preceded by his parents, and the love of his life and wife of 24 years, Jenny. Left to cherish his memories are: his children, daughters Maggie (Harley) Taylor of KY and Brandy (Brian) Windell of IN; and his sister, Laurie Lee, along with many friends and fans over the years. His final wishes were to be cremated and placed with Jenny, which his family honored. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held back in Indiana. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Lee family in their time of need, and asks everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers over this trying time.
