Martin “Mickey” Saucier, age 71 of Lizana, lost his battle to lung disease & pneumonia August 27th, after surviving his fight with lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elois, his father "Uncle Joe" Ladner, and his daughter Michelle Pool. He is survived by his devoted wife and sweetheart of 46 years, Nancy (Ladner) Saucier; three children Joseph (Katie), Wade (Elizabeth) and Allison (Greg); his loving mother Aunt Joyce Ladner, and his siblings Eddie (Sharan), Roger (Amy), and Elaine; along with George (Janelle) & Evelyn. He had three little buddies who called him "Pop" and adored every minute spent with him, Greyson, Grady and Griffin, as well as a princess to be, Sloane. He attended Campground Baptist Church, and without a doubt he walked into God's loving arms and took a glorious pain free breath with his brand-new lungs and body on Tuesday evening. Mickey was a jack of all trades and retired from Blossman Gas after faithfully serving in various job duties for more than 20 years. “Pop” was known for his handsome, but goofy grin, his silly analogies, and having a GREAT, BIG, giving heart! He would literally give his shirt off of his back to anyone, whether he had it to give or not. He will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends for visitation at Campground Baptist Church Saturday morning, August 31, 2019 from 9am-10am with a celebration of his life at 10am. Lunch will follow in the reception hall. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Saucier family in their time of need, and asks everyone to keep the in your thoughts and prayers over this difficult time.
