Jacqueline Bosarge Cuevas, 60 of the Cuevastown community, passed away at her home Friday morning, October 11th. Jackie, as she was affectionately known by most, was born March 20, 1959, the oldest of four children to James Monroe & Bertha Mae (Cuave) Bosarge. She would grow up in the Lakesore community, where she came to enjoy fishing and crabbing. An outgoing young lady with a bubbly personality, Jackie was a 1977 graduate of Hancock North Central High School and attended PRCC afterward. She spent some time working as a nurse's assistant at Miramar Lodge in Pass Christian before starting her own family. She married Tillman Cuevas on April 1, 1998, and they made their home in Cuevastown. Jackie was a warm, loving woman that maintained that bubbly personality through her life. She had a good heart toward all she met and was an excellent cook, making the best red eye gravy around. She loved her kids but adored her grandchildren. A loving, devoted wife and mother, Jackie will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded by her father, James Monroe Bosarge, and her brother, Wayne Bosarge. Left to cherish her memories are; her loving husband Feddie Tillman Cuevas; children Annie Watts of Long Beach, Kerri Watts of DeLisle, Ashley Cuevas of Waveland, Jeremy Cuevas of Pass Christian, Deric (Kateria) Cuevas and Brent Cuevas (Jessica Smith), Scott Cuevas, and Susie Ceuvas, all of Gulfport. She leaves a legacy of fifteen (15) grandchildren, with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM, at Grace Baptist Church on Hwy. 53. The funeral service is set for 1:00 PM, after which she will be laid to rest in Wolf Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help offset final expenses. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Cuevas family in their time of need and asks that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
