Jane M Emrick

Jane M. Emrick, 65, of Gulfport, Mississippi and formerly of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away peacefully in the company of her family on November 9, 2019.  Jane was born on October 2, 1954 to Donald E. Emrick, Sr. and Mayme M. Childress.  She is survived by her daughters, Michele Hedges of Bicknell, Indiana and Misty Emrick of Terre Haute, Indiana; sister, Rebecca Altvater (Carl) of Huntsville, Alabama; brother, Donald E. Emrick, Jr. (Jenny) of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Alexis Hedges (Ezra Thompson), Taylor Hedges, Ethan Hedges, Logan Hedges; great granddaughter, Keatyn Myers; nieces, Christy Lunde, Suzy Altvater, Sara Nagy (Jason), nephews, Carl Altvater II (Jody), Donald E. Emrick III (Cindy) along with several great nieces and nephews.  Jane was preceded in death by both of her parents, Don and Mayme Emrick.  We would like to thank the ICU and PCU nursing staff at Gulfport Memorial Hospital for the wonderful care our mother received.  To St. Joseph’s Hospice, we cannot thank you enough for giving us peace as we transitioned our mother home to be with our Lord and Savior.  Holding our hands through these tough times and loving her as your own.  Thank you for the peace you instilled in us.  We will be forever grateful.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Trinity Funeral Services is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ms. Emrick and ask that you keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the St. Joseph’s Foundation, 1240 Broad Ave, Gulfport, MS 39501.
