Bunnie Lamont Lee, Sr.

Bunnie Lamont Lee, Sr., of Lumerton, MS passed away on November 5, 2019 in Gulfport, MS.  He was born to Aldon “Bunt” and Ruth (Malloy) Lee on November 18, 1933 in Carnes, MS.  He was the oldest of three and the best looking!  He proudly served 4 years in the Air Force and oversaw the Post Office for the base hospital.  He then made a career working for Hercules for 33+ years as a pipefitter/welder combo and foreman.  Bunnie dedicated his life to his family.  He was generous to a fault and would truly do anything for the underdog.  He always had a joke, and no one was a stranger to him.  He was an outdoorsman at heart and loved being outside.  He especially liked hunting quail and at one time had 26 bird dogs.  He enjoyed taking a hands-on approach to life.  He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jarvis Lee.  Bunnie lives on in the hearts and memories of his wife of 66 years, Mrs. Anita, their only son, Monte and his daughter-in-law, Darlene, his grandchildren, Victoria and Braydon Lee and his sister, Betty Jeffrey.  A graveside service will be held at Carnes Community Cemetery on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM.  Trinity Funeral Services is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Bunnie and assist his family during this difficult time.  Please continue to keep the Lee family in your thoughts and prayers during the coming days.
