Billy Warden Obituary

Billy Ray Warden, 64 and originally from McHenry, went home to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning. He was born August 22, 1955, one of eight children to Harold Ray & Irene (Rayner) Warden. Billy Ray grew up in McHenry and loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and the like. He learned what a day's work was all about growing up and was never afraid of it. Billy Ray met Donna Waddle and the rest, as they say, is history. They were married on her birthday and made their home in McHenry, spending the rest of their lives together. Through all the ups and downs life threw at them, they persevered together. Billy Ray was one of the most kind-hearted, giving people that was always eager and ready to help in any way he could. If you visited their home, you were repeatedly offered something to eat and a glass of tea or water, a cup of coffee, or anything else they may have had in the kitchen or pantry! That's just the kind of person Billy Ray Warden was. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Billy Ray was preceded by his parents, Harold Ray & Irene Warden; his sisters, Ruth Jordan and Diane Steele, and brothers Bubba, Leon, and David. Left to cherish his memories are: his loving wife, Donna; their children, daughters Tab (Bill) Prout of Perkinston and Mandy Reeves of Wiggins, and their son, Aaron Warden of Boston, MA; two sisters, Patsy Meadows and Evelyn (Rod) Patton, both of McHenry; three grandchildren: Kaitlyn Prout, Keelye and Bryanna Reeves, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends.  The family has set services for Sunday afternoon, November 10th at McHenry First Baptist Church where he was a member. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Afterward he will be interred in McHenry Gardens Cemetery. Trinity Funeral Services is honored to serve the Warden family in their time of need, and asks everyone to keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
