Brittany Cuevas Obituary

Brittany Cuevas, born January 22, 1986, a cherished mother and beloved friend, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion that will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched. As a devoted sports mom, Brittany's unwavering support and boundless love knew no bounds, as she stood proudly on the sidelines of basketball courts, football fields, and cheerleading competitions, cheering on her children with a radiant smile and an overflowing heart. Her family was her pride and joy, and Brittany's love knew no bounds as she nurtured and guided her children with unwavering tenderness and care. Whether baking together in the kitchen or sharing cherished moments at home, Brittany's love was the foundation upon which her family thrived. Brittany's compassion extended beyond her family, as she embraced all creatures great and small with kindness and warmth. Her gentle spirit and loving nature were a beacon of light to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Though Brittany may be gone from our sight, her memory will forever live on in the laughter of her children and the love she shared with those around her. May her legacy of love and devotion continue to inspire us all. Welcoming Brittany into Heaven are her paternal grandparents, Haynes Sr. and Beatrice Wascom, and Herman Leo and Gladys Ladner Swilley; uncle, Terry Swilley; and cousin, Jeremy Hairel. Letter from Torry Smith:

I love you my beautiful! I know we butted heads bad but isn’t that what moms and daughters do? We are a spitting image of each other because we are bullheaded, but we have to be tough. I hope you know how much I truly loved you and looked up to you. Goodness, I’m going to be so lost without you. You were an amazing mother even though you doubted yourself. That’s what has made me so tough because I had to be strong for you. You truly were an amazing mom and my world. I hope when I have kids, I will be just like you as a mother. I love you momma and I miss you so much. Make the skies pretty for me, move Uncle Terry and our other loved ones out of the way because I need to hug you first. And I pray Uncle Terry grabs us next so I can finally tell him why I have my name. Clear the skies for me and my brothers behind me when it’s our time. I got them for you for now and will make sure we are straight. Until then fly high beautiful angel even though I’m Jealous of the angels right now. Fly high my beautiful queen.
