Nan Elizabeth Byrd (62) of Lumberton, Ms. went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Asbury Hospice House.
Nan was born on November 29,1954 in Bellevue, Ohio to the late Wilson and Melvina Tucker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband H.E. Byrd; and sister Roberta Burge.
She is survived by her sons Shaine (Traci) Ladner, Craig Samantha) Byrd both of Sumrall, and Justin(Brett) Byrd of Gautier, Mississippi; grandson Carson Byrd of Sumrall; sisters Earline (Rob) Mausser of Long Beach, Mississippi; Linda (Ron) Beckham of Tyler, Texas ; And Carol (Bruce) Rachel of Vancleave, Mississippi; brothers Tim (Lorre) Tucker of Carriere, Mississippi. Tom(Linda)Tucker of Carnes, Mississippi an Brother-in-law Leslie Burge of Poplarville, MS. Nan also leaves behind 16 nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Mrs. Byrd was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Lumberton for many years. She enjoyed spending her time with friends and family.
Visitation and services will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 on Friday December 23rd at the First Baptist Church of Lumberton, Mississippi, Followed by burial at the Hickory Creek Baptist Church Lumberton, Mississippi.
