Gene Franklin Cuevas

Gene Franklin Cuevas (75) of the Catahoula Community passed Friday night at the Biloxi V.A. Gene was the oldest of four boys born to Toney and Annie Maude Cuevas of the Catahoula Community. He loved Fishing, playing cards with friends , but most of all sharing God's word. He was a member of the Bay St. Louis Mason Lodge and helped pastor the Triple Cross Barn Church. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children, Kathy Cuevas Gainey(David) of Pensacola, Duke Cuevas(Monique) of Ocala, Fl., Krasinda Cuevas of Bay St. Louis, MS. and Rodney Lee whom he loved like a son. His survivors also include six Grandchildren he dearly loved Brandon, Taryn, Joshua, Gavin, Blake, and Rayden, three brothers , Roger Dale Cuevas , Gary Cuevas(Trudy) and Roland Cuevas, Sr (Lethia), nieces and nephews Gene's service will be Friday Jan 26, 2018 at the Triple Cross Barn Church also known as the Cuevas Auction House on Hwy 43 South Picayune, Ms.(Catahoula Community) visitation will be 10am to 12 Service and graveside to follow immediately after.
